Anchorage Election 2018 Prop 1 (Bathroom Bill) Results by Precinct
In March and April 2018, Anchorage voters cast ballots in their first completely by-mail municipal election. Turnout beat Anchorage's prior record for municipal elections, with 79,295 voters casting ballots.
Proposition 1 was the most hotly-contested proposition on the ballot. A yes vote would have required people use the bathroom of the sex at birth. Anchorage voters rejected Proposition 1 by a 52.6-47.4 margin. An interactive Google My Maps map of the vote by precinct is below.
